The story is in the lyrics. I had a long-distance relationship with a girl I still loved, but it wasn't working out, so I wrote this song.

I'm breaking up with a girl I still love and long for. I know I'll eventually move on, but for now I just want to tell her how I feel. I'm still up all night thinking about her. I need to get over this. In fact, I know I will get over it and move on to better things....but I still just have to get over it. Just get on over.
