Story Behind The Song
Yet another love ballad written for my ex-fiance. My emotions were very strong during my college years, and I was more prolific then than at any other time during my life, until recently. 'Have I Told You Lately' was composed in 1981. I'm proud to say it won first prize in an itty-bitty talent competition -- a sock full of pennies! Ah, the joys of college life. :-)

Lyrics
Have I told you lately
Just how much I care?
And I have I told you lately
What you mean to me?
Do you know I love you
More than life itself?
And do you know I need you
Forever and a day?
Well, if not, I hope you're listenin'
To the words of this song.
'Cause they're comin' from my heart
Where you'll always belong.
Do you know what it means to me
To know you're always there?
And do you know how I really feel
To know you truly care?
Have I told you lately
Just how much I care?
And have I told you lately
That I love you so?
Well, if not, I hope you're listenin'
To the words of this song.
'Cause they're comin' from my heart
Where you'll always belong.
