"Chances" was the musical result of an emotionally painful breakup with my ex-fiance. That was way back in 1981! Now that I'm a newlywed, hopefully there won't be any more lyrics with this subject matter. :-)

Chances spans genres with the music and rhythm giving a romantic pop feel to lyrics that would leave no dry eyes in Nashville. The entire composition also has a much deeper feeling that accompanies the more obvious themes, and leaves the listener in contemplation about those moments when chance causes a turn in life's path that has unexpected consequences. A great song to dance slowly to when you are holding your lover close.
