Story Behind The Song
I was spending a lot of time on the river bank at my grandad's cabin. I'd build a fire, and just sit around for nights at the time. I started thinking about all kinds of stuff. And i began to see the river as kind of a spiritual creature. The actual lyrics were written while i was on break from washing dishes at a bbq joint.
Song Description
A drum track, a simple piano melody, a littlye synth pad and highly distorted vocals. I try to use the dissonance in the middle to add to the theme of conflict in the song.
