Story Behind The Song

I was homeless, and did not want to live... I found each day a struggle to get by... (which inspired me to later write this) I wrote this song 4 years ago.. I was going through a hard time in my life with peoples expectations of me, as well as demands from me.. And realized that, "I am who writes my story"... I am judged by the way I look... A lot of people out there will not give certain people a chance. They judge a book by its cover.. Now every time I perform this song it not only uplifts my spirits, but those who are around me...
