Story Behind The Song
First visit to the beach for the summer - it's nearly Christmas (in Australia). The waves at the shore have that reassuring way of lapping in and out, over and over They go away, but they come back again.
That's why I lile "things that come in cycles" : Christmases, beaches, waves, summers, tides, harvests, Honeymoon Bay (the place we go camping every summer) , babies (I have 5 chikdren).
But I do "need to know, that if you go, you'll come back again"

Lyrics
I like cycles, things that come in cycles,
I like cycles, things that come in cycles.
I like Christmases,
I like beaches,
Wave after wave,
Summer after summer,
The sounds never change
The sounds never change
I like high tide,
Harvest time,
Honeymoon Bay,
Babies,
Babies at the beach,
Summer after summer,
The sounds never change
The sounds never change
Like waves on the sand,
Sun after rain,
Like seeds on dry land,
Birth after pain,
I need to know, if you go,
You'll come back again
Come back again
I need to know, if you go
You'll come back again
Come back again (repeat)
