My ex-boyfriend and I had broken up after a long relationship. I had to start over and seperate from him as my family, his home and all our friends. I wanted to capture the feeling of that lonliness and sense of being so far away from what you once knew, the difficulty in trying to be on your own and still "glow" as a person, still have your own light to give out to the world, and ultimately, the process of healing.
