Song Description

I wrote the lyrics and Jerry Brooks wrote the melody and is the performer.

Story Behind the Song

This is based on the scripture where Jesus says he will go prepare a place for us, in his father's house are many mansions, and he will one day return for his bride. This is a play on that, you don't realize that it is talking about Christ Return until the end.

The simplicity of this performance has its appeal.

MANSION WITH MANY ROOMS
Lyrics by Amy Abernathy
Music by Jerry E. Brooks

VERSE ONE

The husband told his wife,
"I'll go and find a place,
A place for us to live a happy life.
I come from royalty.
My Father owns so many riches.
I will build a home for you and me."

CHORUS

"You'll be my bride. I'll be your groom
In our mansion with so many rooms.
When I return we'll start our life together
In our mansion with many rooms."

VERSE TWO

I know the way to life.
I know the way to truth.
You have to trust in me to be my wife.
You know me and my dad.
We are forever in each other.
With us you will never become sad.

CHORUS

BRIDGE

I am in my Father, my Father is in me.
When you become my wife, you'll be in God's Family.
