The Truth of the Seeds

Out in the garden a man had a hand full of seeds
A few tumbled down along the path and the birds fed with ease
But he carried on along the rocky ground much more seed fell away
Without the earth to cover them they burned to the roots as they lay
Other seed fell among the thorns and the thorns grew up and choked them
So without the open sky there was no grain from within them
But the seeds which he carefully laid in the good nutritious soil
Sprang up sweet and tall and grew abundantly

Those who believe will know the truth of the seeds
For deep within their spirit knows of the kingdom of God but for those outside
They see but do not perceive no they don?t understand
For they won?t hear the word of God which will show them the way to begin
For the man in the garden sows all the seeds of Gods word
If you listen to this parable you?ll begin understanding
For the way represents each and every one of us
Listen closely to this news and you?ll discover too

Those who know and believe in His word
Jesus said to you, you?ve been given the secret to the kingdom of God
For you know deep inside He is with you
And He is the truth and the way and the life

We are the people on the path ? don?t you know that
We are the people in the rocks ? don?t you know that
We are the people in the thorns
And we are also His good soil so won?t you?

Those on the path may know the word for today
But you let Satan enter in and he scooped it away and for those who lay
Upon rocky ground you may receive it with joy
But it will never enter in taking root to hear the sound of His voice
And the people among the thorns they are those who hear the word
But the problems and the riches of this world choke it from them
But the word which was sown upon our good nutritious soil
Bear the fruit of this world, the harvest of His love
