In the changing world around us; jobs,cities, divorce and relationships, we sometimes feel that the days in front of me meant no more than the days behind. But somehow, we always find a way to push forward. The first line of the chorus is a mockery of the traditional work adage, "Another day, another dollar". This statement sucks. Life is about more than just survival, it has to be. The lyrics describe an attempt to understand whether we are motivated by the desire to see a better tomorrow, or by the momentum of the day we just finished. "Another Dollar" is a hauntingly honest lyrical exploration complimented by simple, comforting and understandable musical support.
