Story Behind The Song

The mother in this song, and her family, are friends of mine. Following my performanceat a charity event I had organised, she offered to make donation to the charity if I could write a song that would express how she felt about her son, John.

Song Description

A woman, who has grown from being a miners daughter to a wealthy mother of a son who has a combination of physical characteristics reminding her of her father, mother and husband, reflects on their life's journey and her love for her only son.
