This is a song about gratitude. It's about enjoying life and appreciating the miracles - big and small - happening all around us every day - making our lives richer and happier. To be sure, there's still way too much human hardship and suffering, and as the song says "I know we can solve it - we just have to evolve a bit." We may not be able to control or hasten evolution, but we can try to appreciate the world and our lives day to day.
