We live in a time where there are few heroes in general and even fewer within Christian circles. I have seen in my life the absence of people who will stand and be counted for what they believe in. We have been rocked to sleep by tradition and fear. I want to be one who will stand and be counted for what he believes in. I don't want to be led away from what I know to be right.

The Bible warns about false prophets and those who would lead people away from God rather than to Him. We would first think of cult leaders, but that also can mean people within Christianity who put tradition and religion before God. This song talks about one who has been led astray and that it is possible to come back to God. All you have to do is cry out to him.
