Story Behind The Song
In each persons life there are things, decisions or choices that we regret doing. For some it may be some little thing and others it may be huge. The memories or these past failures weigh on our minds holding us down. The thing is though that when I became a Christian and brought my past failures and mistakes to God, he took them, forgave me and cast them as far away as the east is from the west so that I no longer have to live me life with those things holding me back.
Song Description
Deals with regret of past mistakes and that we should get weighted down with the memory of them. We have a God who is ready to forgive you of your past mistakes and forget them, now we should forget them as well.

Lyrics
verse
So many memories to forget, so reasons I regret
If I can't escape from this place, sinking into darkness of disgrace
Chorus
and yesterday sitting here, wondering if tomorrow will ever come
why do I linger near, today will soon be gone
Verse
You pulled me out of my dispair, before the sun sets I'm going back there
how far is the east from the west, spent so long traveling there I forget
Chorus
and yesterday sitting here, wondering if tomorrow will ever come
why do I linger near today will soon be gone(2x)
interlude
Chorus
and yesterday sitting here, wondering if tomorrow will ever come
why do I linger near today will soon be gone
and yesterday sitting here, all alone, wondering if tomorrow will ever come
why do I linger near, today will soon be gone
