Story Behind The Song
Inspired by an indie film and our own relational experiences the lyricists came up with this clumsy song about insecurity and reassurance in a charming and witty way.
Song Description
Witty, universal relational. This is a song for everyone who's ever felt insecure in a relationship. It a reassuring and heartfelt and honest look at how one person thinks that their perfect partner may leave because they have figured out that they are a mess. Instead they are reassured that they belong together because although they might in fact be a mess, the other is a disaster.

Lyrics
V1) Don't know where you're going or how to get there
Won't ask anyone for directions
Can't keep a date, always late ur blank stare
Wander 'round in a state of confusion
Pre) No it's not ending & No I'm not leaving
No you won't push me away
Chorus) Why would I throw a stone, Why would I start a fight
You fall down I come tumbling after
How could I put you down, How could I call you out
You're a mess & I'm a disaster
V2) Toss your clothes on the floor, leave your keys in the door
At the store you forget what you came for
Laces untied, asking friends for a ride
Got a dog can't think of a name for
Pre) No it's not ending & I'm not pretending
I really do like you this way
Chorus) Why would I throw a stone, Why would I start a fight
You fall down I come tumbling after
How could I put you down, How could I call you out
You're a mess & I'm a disaster
Bridge) Look at me ca you see
Chaos Clutter Debris
Down a notch will you please
Imperfect fits perfectly
