Song Description
The Annus Mirabilis literally means, The Miracle Year in latin. In the initiated circles of science history there is a well know concept generally regarded as The Miracle Year, when scientific understanding launches forward in a gigantic leap. This has happened three times in the last 10,000 years. The first was in the late 17th century when Newton published his Principia Mathematica, describing optics, laws of thermodynamics, the gravitational law, invents calculus (!) and much more. The second and third were, in 1905 Einstein published description of The Special Theory of Relativity, and 1916, The General Relativity. In the interim we have come to describe and model the world around us with quantum theories for the microscopic world and relativisim for the macroscopic world. It is theorized that a fourth Annus Mirabilis will shortly occur when these concepts are reconciled and connected through a unifying theory which would include a quantum description of gravity and possibly a description of the Escatchon. String theory, M-theory, and Calabi-Yau theories seem to be moving in that direction. The Annus Mirabilis is about this fourth Miracle Year.
