Story Behind The Song

caught in a moment of depression one rainy day and I decided to look outside my window. It was ugly out, the sky was covered with nothing but black storm clouds. Studying the clouds made me feel worse until this beam of light rips through the dark rain clouds right in front of my eyes. I took it as inspiration on my life as well as this song. in the first verse I talk to my homies and explain to them that maybe if we quit drinking and smoking and tried more positive things change would come a little easier. The second verse explains how me and my woman took custody of my homies' daughter after him and his baby's momma got deep into meth and couldn't take care of her anymore. I explain how i dealt with it. Third verse takes more of a religious aspect and explains that with faith in God will get through.
