Yesterday's Dreams

Lyrics

YESTERDAYS DREAMS

I'm all packed up and ready to go
To leave the smoke and the friends I know
Gonna head out west to find new ways
live my life from day to day
I'll send you all a postcard saying
"Boy what a good time I'm having
Wish you were here to share with me
All the good things that are here_____ to see"

And my yesterday's dreams never stay baby
This much I will surely say
Oh I keep changing my mind
Time after time
And my yesterday's dreams never stay

Year by year the days go by
If I don't leave soon I'll lose my mind
A lot of love and a lot sights
Wait out there to come alive
But now I'm here alone with you
You make me smile with the things you do
And when you weave all your love
I find it hard to leave_____ your arms

(Chorus)

(Instrumental break)

I'm still packed up and ready to go
Though the fire's weak I'm getting slow
I've looked at all the wealth I've won
And realised how well I've done
Now I'm not rich and I'll never be
The greatest man the world will see
I've lost the chance to find new ways
But walk right in to better_____ days

(Chorus)

Yesterday's dreams
Oh my yesterday's dreams
Oh my yesterday's dreams______ never stay_________
