Story Behind The Song
This song "came through me" as all of my songs do... just hearing a melody in my head, recording the tune on my tape recorder and then writing the lyrics. I began "hearing" melodies after my first grandson was born. I never know when another melody will just "appear!."
Song Description
A lullaby to engage the baby in appreciation for the sun, moon stars and how much she/he is loved and how they and other elements
will help him to grow and remind him/her of
who they really are, beloved children of the Universe (implied).

Lyrics
Hear the wind, its rushing off to dreamland
See the sun, its racing to its homeland
See the moon, its rising in the night sky
Ah, and look, a falling star is skipping by
And they say goodnight to you
You are safe in love
Sleep and dream of rainbowed skies
Butterflies,
Peaceful world
When you wake, the sun will rise to greet you
And the wind will sing a sweet song to you
The whispering trees will tell you many secrets
Reminding you of who you are
