Story Behind The Song
Blew off dates with girls on numerous occassions because of forgetting and going to the studio to record and create instead. So made a little singing joke saying: "I KEEP EM WAITING I I KEEP EM WAITING". Loved the sound of it so i then recorded a clap and shoo-wop and recorded the 1st verse and hook off the top of my head. Then wrote the rest, and directed my horn section on what i was looking for on sound and character.
