Story Behind The Song

Anyone that follows world news has to ask - where is the human race headed? Do we, as a group, have a goal or do we just react? If we don't know where we want to go then how do we know which direction to go in? Why do we have terrorists? Why are resources being rapidly depleted? Why do we have assault weapons in so many hands? I wrote the song to raise the questions hoping leaders will search for answers.

Song Description

The song is reminiscent of the 60's songs questioning the Vietnam War. Back then it was easier to identify the issues. Now, with terrorism it is more difficult to target who we are fighting. throw in resource depletion, assault weapons at home, etc. and the issues get very difficult. How will the human race deal with these? Time will tell but if we don't take them seriously the consequences could be devastating considering the ability to build or find nuclear weapons.
