How many times, in my journey of 4 decades, have I been in a hopeless jam? Over my head, out-gunned, out-numbered, out-witted, overwhelmed by life's small & large monsters! I've heard the Adversary's laughter & felt the bullies of my soul. Then I've seen the merciful but powerful Lover of my soul step in, & kick butt for his scared child. This truth became a refrain & the refrain became a song that I'll sing forever, especially in the fearful days.
