Story Behind The Song
True story.
Song Description
Adulthood brings about more temptations, be it drugs, people, opportunities, freedom. When you're a teenager, you often date by proximity - people at your school, who live in your neighbourhood. However, after high school, you're essentially free to do as you please, and factors such as drive and ambition start to become more important. This is a song about being in-between - I want to love you, but we're just not the same people anymore.

Lyrics
Spent three months in a bar
I learned to drink
the days were long but the,
the nights went so fast
sitting in that summer
when I had no cash
I was happy
but you looked so goddamn sad
When I pulled up to your house
you told me that your life
was going nowhere fast
and you said that you still can't see nothing coming
What you worried about?
You said you're worried about yourself
Well give me all you said you would
Give me all
Spent three months in a bar
I learned to lie
and I learned to like it
We fell into this new world
of shallow looks
and drugs
and alcohol
But then you left me out at sea
alone to fight for a cause I didn't have
and you said that you still can't see nothing coming
but I still love you
What you worried about?
You said you're worried about yourself
Well give me all you said you would
Give me all
What you worried about?
You said you're worried about yourself
Well Jason, I can't
You only make things harder
What you worried about?
You said you're worried about yourself
Well Jason, I can't
