Story Behind The Song

Wrote this song after 2 people went through dramatic stages in there lives. My mother and my ex-girlfriend. My mother (rest her soul), was raped coming out of high school, and my girl friend was beaten and impregnated by her abusive father.

Song Description

Song about a girl who goes through trials and tribulations on her own. From drug addicted mother to an abusive father who impregnates her. Dealing with all these situations on her own, she always looks for help, but no one ever believes her which pushes her to the brink. Lean on me encourages girls going through these problems to not give up on themselves in time of controversy. That you are not alone, and to keep hope. Somebody is always there for you.
