Story Behind The Song

I personally wrote the song to forgive someone I thought had wronged me. I used the song to get to a place of love with them even though we went our separate ways. I didn't want to end it on a sour note & carry resentment with me. So this song was really written so I could let go with love. Most of my fans have used it to say goodbye whether through break-up, divorce or even when loved ones have passed on.

Song Description

The song has been used by folks going through divorce, wanting to forgive others, and most especially at memorials. It's about letting go with love and honoring & taking the best parts that the relationship gave to each person. The first verse introduces the idea of this couple/unit splitting up. The chorus is about remembering the highlights & taking that with them in their new lives alone. The second verse continues to talk about the split up, how their chapter together has ended. The bridge talks about wishing the other person all the love & joy in their new life alone. It's a great song for forgiveness, saying goodbye & letting go with love.
