Lyrics

You're a mess, you're sick you better get help
You're alone your life is always somewhere else
No one knows, the lies you tell yourself, they go on & they go on & they go on

You keep on singing that same old song
But you know your wrong
But you know you wrong

Will you bend or break to insanity
Will you lose control or break free
Of this road that's a one way street
That goes on and it goes on until we all fall

You're a mess, you're sick you better get help
You're alone your life is always somewhere else
They all know the lies you tell yourself, they go on & they go on & they go on

They keep on saying you don't belong
But you hope they're wrong
But you know you're wrong

Is the world as cold as it really seems
Will you rise on up & break free
Of this road thats a one way street
That goes on and it goes on until we all fall

Interesting piano tone and arrangement.

Very cool and very moody piece of music. I like the dark tones on the keys which fit well with the subject mater. Dark and brooding, love it.

I've always liked your music.

Solid alternate Rock tune. Powerful instrumentation and sound. Love the distortion/enhancement for vocals. Por production.

This is a beautifully constructed song that has the effect of being caught in a swirling sinking loop leading to emotional destruction. The lyrics perfectly put words to the mood the melody expresses, with simple yet elegant truthfulness reiterating the "goes on and on and on" theme, going deeper, deeper, and deeper and asks the subtle question what will you do to climb out? The instrumentation gently begins with keyboards, into echoes, eventually getting heavier and heavier. Anyone who has experienced such a quiet, desperate crises can easily understand this piece. This is what creativity does out of necessity and done wonderfully!

Spooky, sad and dark, this song deals with mental illness/addiction/messed up life/all of the above. The music and performance definitely suits the lyrical content which defines a hopeless life pretty accurately. The instrumentation is kind of freaky-sounding, which really works for the song. I like the way the organ comes in. I think that this song would appeal to high school and college age people.
