Story Behind The Song

I dated a girl for two years. She left me for another man shortly after our 2 year anniversary. The holidays are always something that I struggle with and on top of dealing with the normal stressors of the holiday season I was coming to terms with going through that time of year without my lover. I didn't know if I could do it emotionally (when i started writing the song) and then as the holiday's came and went I came through on the other side realizing that I can not only enjoy that time of year but that I can make it with out her in general.

Song Description

The song is about being in a relationship for two years experiencing so much in those two years and experiencing the holiday's (christmas and new years) for the first time without that loved one and finding joy in those occasions.
