Judy Cook has been writing songs for over twenty years. Career highlights include several of her songs being scored and played with symphony orchestras through-out Canada and the States for their family series concerts. Originally a tap dancer, she uses the rhythms around her to create her original songs.

Judy will soon be in Norway House with musician partner Tusia Kozub to help create the Christmas Concert at Jack River School. Previously she was busy conducting dance workshops for "Artspeak" with high school students at Cedarwood Lodge. Themes have included "Freedom" "So you think you can Dance" and "Spaces and Places". Up coming performances of "Judy Cook and Swingset" will be at the Winnipeg Millennium Library through the Winnipeg Folk Festival outreach program.

"Judy Cook and Swingset" will be performing their original material Saturday February 11 at the Millennium Library in Winnipeg at 1:30 PM The show is sponsored by the Winnipeg folk festival and the Manitoba Arts Council.
