SKULL FONTS BIO
The New Jersey American Rapper "SKULL FONTS" who loves all types of music, got his official love for music, from his Dad who was a local D.J. in the 70's for a West Orange, NJ radio station. He gave SKULL an ear of all types of Funk, Disco, R&B & Rock Music....along with his older cousins, Michelle, Steve & Kecia. He also, got lessons on music from his Uncle Minister Joe McGlone, who was a Blues turned Gospel singer years ago in the Newark area. In the early 80's...he got exposed to Hip-Hop music. In 1990 him and a few other local rappers started a group called "Def Connection" and opened up for the legendary "Nice N Smooth" in an outing for the "National Urban League". He also was a hype man for the legendary group 2pm who did local shows in the New Jersey area. In 1994 he linked up wit Frank "The Bean" Belesteri (R.I.P.) - of "Crazy Rhythm's" of Montclair, NJ who believed in "SKULL(Y) talent and offered him a chance, to perform on "The HeadRush" released on Love N' Hemp Records in 1995. He is an extended member of "The Boom Skwad". Also in 95', he played role as hypeman for "The Artifacts" on tours with Common, The Beatnuts & Organized Konfusion. In 1997, he performed the chrous for "Brick City Kids" - (If you don't know who shit this..n*gga you betta think twice about dem brick city kids..puff mad iz..f*ck who u r..breakin down crews and so-called super-stars.) In 2009, "SKULL FONTS" was featured on a song called "Real Newark" G-Smoke's Album "Newark International" - featuring Treach of Naughty By Nature & Do-It-All of Lords Of The Underground. SKULL networked on MYSPACE and met MUSICAL MASTER-MIND PRODUCER, "7EVEN SUN" who is from AIXX, FRANCE. In 2009, He self-released..."DeepNsideDa-S.K.U.L.L." - The EP, Produced By "7EVEN SUN" & Also, "Da Hard Struggle"...Produced By "FUNK DADA" available @ http://www.amazon.com In 2010 He is currently working on his album "MindetectMine2010" PRODUCED BY "7EVEN SUN & CO-PRODUCED BY SKULL FONTS.
