THE LEGEND OF “REINDEER ON THE RUN”

After working very late one Christmas Eve "Eve", I was startled by noises in the recording studio and couldn’t believe my eyes. The BAP Cave was suddenly filled with reindeer and not just any reindeer – the Reindeer! Asking what they were up to, Dancer said, “We’ll tell you. We want to write a tune about our gig.” They had heard about the Grooves in the P-Funk vault (in this case, the Percussion-Funk vault), and wondered if they might use one. “Sure, for you Reindeer, anything.” As they listened, I fell asleep. It was soon morning and all was quiet saying to myself, “what a crazy dream!” That was until I turned on the recorder and heard,”Reindeer on the Run.” OH, DEER!
