Short Bio
SeVeR rose out of Western Pa in 2003 and quickly became one of the premier Metal Bands in the state. Casting aside the local mind set that you have to do covers, SeVeR was one of the first all original acts in the area. By setting the stage, SeVeR conformed the music scene from what was only for cover bands surrounding the DuBois area to what is now, a hot spot for original bands and music.
Playing venues such as CBGB in NYC, Crowbar in State College PA, 123 Pleasant St in WV, and Aldo's in Altoona PA, among many others. Also playing Chrome at the Dome promoted by Killer Koncepts and Discovery Channel's Biker Buildoff in 2005. The Red CD made Jim Price of Q94's Top 10 CD's in the state for 2004. First place in a Band Battle hosted by Primate Studios in 2007. Along with numerous appearances on Fox 8's The Underground TV show make for some of SeVeR's highlights.
SeVeR started with local musicians, but as the name and demand grew so did the lineup. Evolving into what it is today, consisting of some of the top musicians from Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Jersey coming together as one to put forth the best melodic metal these areas have ever seen by an unsigned act.
