See Spot Run is an acoustic folk-rock band that performs and records authentic, roots-based music with folk, rock, and world influences. The band members are:

See Spot Run began in 1997 in San Diego, CA with singer/songwriting team Steve and Barb Potts. In its early stages, SSR would play local coffee houses as a duet, with Steve on acoustic guitar and Barb on vocals. Their first CD, “It’s a Dog’s Life”, was recorded in late 1997 and contains several tracks that are still favorites when SSR play live today. A second CD, “Dog Beach”, was released in 2001. This marked the start of a stretch beyond the acoustic singer/songwriter structure and featured violinist Joanie Chiasera on the track “Soul So Deep”.
