School for the Gifted are a 5-piece hard/heavy rock band from Reading, U.K with all original material and a substantial following in the main area we play, (Berkshire). The line-up consists of
· ASH –Lead Vocals
· Blackmore – Lead / Acoustic Guitar
· Chubby – Rhythm / Acoustic Guitar
· Ben Boerboom – Drums / Backing Vocals (Australian!)
· “The Path” – Bass Guitar / Backing Vocals (Australian!)

Our music has been described as ROCK! Described in a recent interview as having “one foot firmly in the old school and the other kicking hard into 2002”. We are a very energetic band and pay specific attention to putting on a live show that is not only good listening but also something visual, without having to resort to the extremes of bizarre stage props! The way good rock should be!
