I am an Ethnomusicologist, composer, guitarist and I sometimes play saz (baglama), sanxian and gayageum. I compose both songs and instrumental music. I am interested in writing music for live theatre and the movie screen. My influences are many. My formative years were spent listening mainly to the old blues masters and British and American folk music. Later interests included jazz, classical, minimalist, traditional music,(ethnic/world music) especially from the Middle East and the Far East. I live in Seoul, South Korea and for a time I worked with the renowned Geomungo player Lee Joung-Ju.

this link will take you to a videotaped performance of a play for which I composed the incidental music...the play is called "The Koreans"...it is set during the Korean War 60+ years ago...it was written using four languages, Korean, French, English & a tiny bit of Esperanto...it was written & directed by Nicolas Hazard...
I have posted some of the music on this website...
if you enjoy the music, please let me know...thanks...
