Room with a View is a 5-piece acoustically melodic band from Flint, Mi. RWAV began is early 2002 when Tony Everett and Matt Guigear started writing and recording they’re original songs together. Soon a mutual friend and musician, John Guzdzial, started sitting in on the small basement jam sessions. Adding his unique guitar skills to the songs, and writing some of his own John decided to split from his punk band and play full-time with what was then known as “Creative English Circles”. After a small stint with a sit in drummer and bassist the 3 decided that if they were to start playing out they needed these positions filled full-time. Two veteran musicians were recruited, on percussion was
a long time friend Mark Hudson, and on bass, Kevin Norfleet. The addition proved to be priceless. After which the group was re-named “Room with a View”.
