Roamer blends the complimentary sounds of the mandolin and acoustic guitar with an active bass and percussion setup to produce an original rock-reggae sound. Comprised of four musicians from Trumbull, CT, Roamer fuses this sound as a sold backdrop for the poetically and politically charged lyrics of Tim Sather. Founded in August of 2002, Tim Sather (guitar, vocals), Matt Summ (drums, percussion), Matt Sather (bass, lead guitar, vocals) and John Sather (lead guitar, mandolin) have grown from a group of three guys playing 8 originals and 5 covers at Fairfield, County, CT cafes to a tight band with a repertiore of 25 originals and 30 covers, playing in cities all over the northeast. Roamer has developed quite a strong following throughout Connecticut and New York City. The band offers a wide array of music that draw diverse crowds. Their energy proves a great atmosphere both live and on their albums. The balanced blend of upbeat and mellow songs continues to expa
