Don't let the name fool you; Ribbit isn't some white boy rapper/DJ who's playing around with his mother’s record collection. He's a full-blown trance master. Though seasoned musicians may smirk at trance or any electronic music style, the complexity of this style is amazingly complicated if done correctly. Ribbit is no desktop musician. His ability to arrange some infectious grooves and complex beats is up there with the best of them. The thing I look for when review this style of music is the progression of the songs. Does the sound go anywhere, or just repeat itself in an endless loop? Well, Ribbit has his progressions down. His music has the ability to evolve into something that is totally unexpected by the end. This is definitely music that should be turning the club scene on its head. Keep your ear out for this artists, cause he's about to explode.

Bio
Many if his works have been licensed for various movies, television commercials, documentaries, and video games. Last year, his track "Cerebral Voyage" was chosen by Artisan Studios to be included on their Blair Witch 2 - Witchmix Online Compilation. In November of 2000, Ribbit's track "Sword Master" finished 9th out of thousands of entrant's songs in Pete Tong's "Best U.S. Dance Track" Competition. Several of his tracks have been used in various record labels' projects, including most recently "Terminal Velocity" which was featured on Chinese Records' Shaolin-Tech comp-ilation. The track was also selected by director Jay Gerson to be used in his film "Playing Dead" which was released this past March.
Ribbit can currently be found show casing his talents at some of the trendiest music venues in Dallas, including his weekly rotations at the legendary Zubar, Sipango, and Dew Drop Studio. Ribbit lives in Dallas, Texas.
