Ramon Lazo is a keyboardist/composer/producer/engineer from San Francisco California, United States. He has worked with many artists of different styles for over 20 years as a keyboardist/composer/producer. His past work involves jazz (Mission Project, Bobby Hutcherson), rock and hip-hop (Spearhead, Ozomatli) and world music (Rolando Morales Group). His best known work is with Michael Franti & Spearhead on the albums, “Live At The Baobab” and “Stay Human”. On “Stay Human” co-wrote two of the band’s most important songs to date, “Oh My God” and “We Don’t Mind”. Recent credit for “Oh My God” on the HBO crime-drama “The Wire” (2001 season).

He owns and operates RLTMUSIC Productions in San Francisco, CA which specializes in music production for film, TV, commercials, and music artists. Current production is Rolando Morales Group, a flamenco/jazz group (release date Oct. 2003).

He holds a BA in Radio & Television from San Francisco State University. Member of ASCAP and NARAS.
