Pushing Zero hails from the extreme mid-coast region of Maine and has moved into playing the best rock venues in NYC and Boston. PZ has recently worked with Emmy award-winner, Bill Chinnock of E-Street band fame. In April of 2004 PZ released, "The Chosen", receiving praise from all major local radio stations and news press in Maine. The demand for Pushing Zero to play festivals, (including the great grass roots Wheeliefest in Pennsylvania) as well as open for national acts (including: Ra, Plain White T's, Badfish, Steve Pearcy/ Ratt, Brett Michaels/ Poison, Adam Bouchard/ Blue Oyster Cult, and Foghat) has captured the attention of industry professionals. PZ have just released "Rite of Passage", enjoying considerable success on GarageBand and Broadjam with their songs receiving numerous awards. PZ is currently responding to a heavy buzz after winning WCYY's "Big Break" Contest where they played at Portland's State Theatre before a full house.
