Bio

Project 420 was established in August of 1998. The founding members
of the band were Matt and Phil. They wanted to start an original sounding,
hard-driving rapcore band....Their first feat was to become the band, and find
some members. The first member to join the band was Brian Kuntz from
Montrose, and the next to join was Brandon Heit also from Montrose..For the
low end, they recruited bassman Dave Cribbins...(whom matt had played with
in a previous band) This was the sweet beginning to a great band..They
started to write some beginning to a song..From that jamming and playing,
came the birth of project 420’s first song, which was originally recorded in

was tentatively called “Step up and try me”. This was later shortened to just
“Try me”....The band then dubbed their original name, 420...which was
changed later to what it is now...project 420, for legal purposes..
Shortly after the naming of the band, project 420 ran into some
problems with rehearsing and lack of time, and Brian and Brandon were
removed from the band....That was when the band decided to take on
Drummer Dan Cribbins, who was Dave’s brother, and the old drummer of
Matt and Dave’s previous band for 5 years....A few long months later, after
writing about 7 songs, the band signed on additional guitarist Tim Brueck
from Frankenmuth....This was a great asset to the band, and was well
welcomed...Shortly after Tim
