Jerry, a songwriter, Artist, and Musician, is no stranger in the music business. After spending most of his time working in
studios helping other artists craft their songs ,he has listened to songs of the 70's, 80's, and 90's as well as the up-beat
songs of today, and understand how to mix different styles of music.
He grew up in the small town of Hazen,Ar,where he first learned to sing,tutored by Sister T-Dorthy Owens,and the Owens family (A Gospel Group),As well as the Penn Family, (Gospel Group)bass player,Russell Penn Jr;,and Wife, piano player,Nailda Penn.He started playing the piano and organ,after listening to (Gospel Musician), Brother Willie Taylor. He has worked with R & B, Blues Bands, Pop, Country
and Gospel singers throughout his career. He was also, the Lead Singer for a LA Group(Seaside,CA)(Higher Desirer),formed by Guitarist "Skip Brown". Jerry has written and arranged over 200 songs in his lifetime, and decided to
records some song tracks for himself.
