Only a year behind Plus Etd and we’ve seen hard work and determination pay off for the Milwaukee quartet. In January of 2001 they embraced their first recording opportunity at "Wall’s Have Ears" in Milwaukee, known for recording such acts as Garbage, Citizen King, and the Guffs. With this opportunity Plus Etd found enormous support for the single "Balance" which has been played regularly in Milwaukee and Madison.

After many months of constant gigging in the Midwest, Plus Etd recorded their first full-length album in September and October of 2001. The new album entitled "Equilibrium" captures the extreme blend of genres into a unique and original sound. As a listener it is easy to find many favorites throughout the 12 tracks.

November 2001 Plus Etd receives title for "Best Unsigned Band" from Supersonic Mag.com out of New York. With the new album complete Milwaukee’s Lazer 103 becomes the first to play single "Day Off."
