I am a NC State University alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering; but I am also a self-educated music producer/engineer/entrepreneur. Born and raised in the Hickory, NC area, I began my “serious” musical endeavors in 1992.
After graduating from college I resided in Flint, MI for several years where I developed a hunger for music that could only be satiated by exploring my latent talents. This desire manifested itself by compelling me to form a group called Prodigal Souls consisting of myself, Donovan Lee, and Keith Bell.
I conceived and developed Phunk Phaktory Records/Phunk City Productions in 1999 as my attempt to make my mark in the music industry.
My pilgrimage to Georgia began in January 2002. I came here to exploit the more fertile music industry environment. Since arriving here I have thrived not only in the music arena, but also in other facets of my life. It truly has been a blessing to be here.
