Formed in 2002, Penumbrae is a Detroit-area quintet that plays acoustic-based pop-rock with hints of bluegrass and folk. Originally a duo, Penumbrae grew into a quintet in early 2004. Penumbrae recently started work on their debut full length CD with producer Jeff Robinson. The CD is slated to be released in late 2004/early 2005.
