He has released 3 critically-acclaimed CDs as a leader: Flight, Incredible Journey (Capitol) and Excursions Beyond (Motown). He is currently putting the finishing touches on his new CD, "BLISS" which has a release date of Aug1.
Immediately recognizable in his tall lean stature and red hair, Pat Vidas has been named "Best New Artist" in the Village Voice Poll and "Talent Deserving of Wider Recognition" in the Down Beat International Critics Poll.

Celebrated for his warm romantic tone, soaring lyricism and masterful technique, Pat was first introduced to jazz audiences in the 1980s at the Charles Colin New York Brass conference. He was demonstrating his "Digital Polytrumpet" to Wynton and Lew Sollof of Blood, Sweat & Tears. Now hailed as "the trumpeter & composer to integrate electronics with tradition." (Palm Beach Post), Vidas has appeared on dozens of compact discs as a composer, arranger, producer and featured soloist.

Pat returned to Tennis in 1985 as the Head Tennis Professional at Palm Beach Polo & Country Club where he maintained a top 25 rating in the state of Florida in the men's open division until 1995.
