Opende has developed a keen ability to "hear beyond the sound". He began to write songs and perform as a hobby in the 90s with a few bands influenced partly by pop culture, and by his natural background, but remained more of a writer/composer and studio artist than a live performer.
In recent years, Opende did stints as a Dj in trendy Nairobi and Mombasa clubs, and has now curved a niche as a studio artist skilled in the use of computer-based music creation tools.
What he gives to the world of music is a time-tested sweet blend of harmonies and melodies spiced up in modern beat, seasoned with juicy rhythms that will richly satisfy your audial taste buds!
