Wisconsin new-time string band.

The No Name Stringband is a collective of Madison-area musicians lead by claw-hammer banjo player Brian Zimmerman and guitarist Matt Manske.

They combine a broad interest in traditional Appalachian old-time music with a variety of original acoustic compositions. The original music ranges from fiddle-led, foot-stomping dance tunes to slower, introspective classical-bluegrass numbers. NNSB also performs a wide variety of tunes from the old-time repertoire.
