BIOGRAPHY


Mymeo has been together for nearly eight months; starting out as an acoustic band and naturally progressed to a much larger, harder act. The sound is an indie-rock band without the limitations or a distinct style. The band was formed in November, 06. initially starting out as a 3 piece. The musicians that compose this band have all been playing together for around five years, in alternate bands. We began writing some songs with a band that is good friends of ours, and we merged the two groups together. We presently reside in Mesa, AZ. The band consists of five individuals, Justin (bass), Trent (guitar, drums, backing vocals), Mudd (Guitar, back up vocals), Kellen (lead vocals, guitar), Johnny (keys, applications),
Our lead Guitarist Trent, is perusing his associates degree at Scottsdale community college for film production, also has done music videos and worked on various short films. The Keyboardist, Johnny, and Kellen, the lead vocalist, are both half way done with their AAS in music production, at Mesa Community College. Our bass player Justin recently acquired his Associates degree in General studies at MCC. Our guitar player Mudd also is going to MCC for network administration.
Johnny and Kellen are the first and second engineers at RPS studios. Mesa, AZ. Where we are currently operating, and recording our debut album “the way to the stars”. Kellen also Interns at amp studios, in phoenix AZ; where they do post production for film. Kellen has personally worked with clients such as Subway, and Fox, as we are the premier 5.1 studio in AZ. Mymeo is waiting to finish their debut record before they start doing shows, yet some members in the band have played in at least eight venues. We DO have stage experience just not under this name. Trent, Johnny, and Kellen all used to be in a metal band, and they played Milwaukee Metal fest In Wisconsin. We are very serious musicians who are constantly in our studio coming up with new music.
Some of our major influences are: Radiohead, Jack Johnson, Bright eyes, Bob Dylan, Modest mouse, Sublime, Siguros, the flaming lips, Elliot Smith, Muse, Led zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, and the Arcade Fire.
