Mike first heard a song he wrote on the radio in 1970. He then quit his office job and never worked a real one again. His fourth CD project is underway.

Mike's Top Five Big Deal Moments

1954: I wrote and performed in a sci-fi play broadcast on the radio. Dad taped it. Age ten.
1956: "Heartbreak Hotel" hit Number One. I was dancing with Renee Durand in her basement when somebody put it on.
1964: Ed hosted the Beatles that Sunday night. Picked up the guitar.
1969: I wrote two songs and in 1970: the second one got lots of airplay in Cincinnati. Road bands and solo gigs followed for the next 33 years.
2004: Quit playing out and got serious about working the dozen or so worthy originals.
