The 2009 6-Pack Contest leaderboard is up and running and the heat is on! You can now see who's leading in the first challenge all the way from 1st to 20th place. Over the next several weeks, the leaders in the remaining challenges will also be revealed, as well as the overall 6-Pack leader.

Entrants will also notice a new addition to the leaderboard. After showing the top 20 leaders in a challenge, an entrant can look farther down the leaderboard to see their own stats! For each song that an entrant has submitted, they can see the song's position against other songs in that challenge, and they can see the average review rating the song has received. By seeing a song's review rating, you can see how close it is to entering the top 20 (which earns you points for that song) by comparing it to the "20th Position Average Rating."

Check out the leaderboard and see what's going on with the first challenge, Get Lubed. Last week, we moved Broadjam.com to new servers. These servers offer several improvements to the "back end" of the site, but the bottom line is you should see an overall increase in the speed of Broadjam.com. We will continue to make improvements to the site as opportunities arise.

Artist Spotlight

A few members of the Broadjam staff recently had the pleasure of catching a great live show by NYC-based Pop/Rock band Wonderlust, at the Bitter End in NYC. More recently, they've set up a profile page on Broadjam!

At the show, the band played a steady stream of upbeat, melodic pop tunes that had the whole crowd hanging on every note. It was clear from their presence on stage that they were seasoned performers just having a blast doing what they do, and the crowd fed off their energy. Wonderlust put on such a great show that night, we thought we'd share them with the rest of the Broadjam community in this week's artist spotlight.
